Two of Atlanta’s favorites are coming together on Sunday, March 20th from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30p.m. for a fundraiser. Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and SweetWater Brewery are hosting a fundraiser for Fox Bros. current general manager, Cynthia Montoya, who was diagnosed with Stage II pancreatic cancer in 2015. The Fox Bros. are teaming up with some of the best pitmasters and chefs in the country – to put on this fundraiser at SweetWater Brewery to help with Cyndi’s medical expenses. SweetWater Brewery offered their space and Sysco is sponsoring the event via product donation for all the chefs.
“Cynthia Montoya is the heart and soul of Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q,” says co-owner Jonathan Fox. “She joined our family eight years ago as a server and quickly became a favorite of our regulars. Her love of our guests, our BBQ, and our staff grew and we promoted her to a manager and, eventually, general manager. Her energy and dedication made her a beloved family member since day one. When your family needs, you drop what you’re doing and help. That’s what we’re doing here.”
