Chef Todd Richards from The Shed at Glenwood won “Best Fried Chicken” at the Mother Clucker Fried Chicken Festival for the second year in a row. Valenza brought home the 2nd place prize and Bantam + Biddy finished in 3rd place.

I was lucky to be one of the judges this year and have to give a shout out to Chef Jason Alley from Comfort & Pasture in Richmond, Virginia. His fried chicken was one of my favorites of the day.

Other participating restaurants included Fox Bros BBQ/ Big Tex, P’Cheen, Haven, Food 101, Rosebud/ The Family Dog and Taqueria del Sol.
